3 Day Wedding Countdown
The final days prior to your wedding are among the most chaotic. So, calm down and when family members ask "is there anything I can do?", don't say no - really think of something. You could have them make verification phone calls.
3 Days before -
Eyebrow Shaping: Unwanted brow hair is removed by waxing, tweezing, depilatory, or threading. Don't let yourself be talked into trying any new hair colors just before your wedding. You don't want to risk an allergic reaction.
If you tweeze your own brows try not to wait longer than the third day. You can alleviate any redness or swelling by caring for them a few days early. If there is any growth in the next two days, it will only be a hair or two - which can easily be removed.
2 Days before:
Teeth Whitening: Have your teeth whitened professionally, or use a product specifically for home use. You won't get the dramatic outcome that a professional produces but you will have a brighter smile. Also don't think that if you use the the whitener longer you'll get whiter teeth, you won't.
I know a guy who left his teeth whitener on all night, thinking it would whiten in one application. It didn't, but it did remove the top layer of enamel from his teeth and now he suffers with temperature sensitivity. Simply follow the directions, and you won't have any problems.
1 Day Before:
Manicure and Pedicure: Take your hand cream, your polish, base and top coat for use with your manicure and pedicure. Keep your hands and feet looking and feeling soft. If your natural nails are being groomed, a good top coat of polish really does prevent dulling or chipping for about 4 or 5 days.
Bridal Tip: On your way home, stop and have a jeweler give your ring a professional cleaning. It should only take minutes and not cost much if anything at all. Therefore, when you give your hand to show your ring, the impression will be a positive one.
On Your Wedding Day:
Miscellaneous: Try not to drive yourself anywhere, you won't be able to totally focus your attention on the road. Ask you maid or matron of honor to handle any last minute details to help control bridal stress. Your matron or maid should take care of your brides purse which should only have a mirror or compact, your lip color and a pretty handkerchief. A ladies handkerchief is more fitting for your wedding day than a Kleenex.
Remember what's important about the day; your groom and loved ones are with you, so anything negative is incidental - let someone else take care of it. The biggest and best "Tip of the Day": Try to relax and make sure that your radiant smile and bridal glow is what will be remembered about you on your wedding day.
